This guide reveals the core status indicator cues, intuitive gestures, and hidden geek mechanics in 3 minutes.

🔍 1. Decoding App Status: Visual Indicator Secrets

ZZ Music integrates dynamic visual cues directly into UI components without intrusive popups:

Vinyl Center Number Digit value + digit colour The digit is the user's Sound Energy Growth Level (0–7), advancing with total playtime: 0 Launch → 1 Voyager → 2 Harmonizer → 3 Navigator → 4 Sonic Master → 5 Fusion Master → 6 Cyber Grandmaster → 7 Apex Resonance. Full progress and vitality are in the toolbox under "User Level & Vitality".
The colour of that digit signals lyrics: Cyber Cyan = the current track has lyrics (embedded or a separate .lrc file, both scroll), Neon Pink = no lyrics.
Note the distinction: the ring around the digit is always Cyber Cyan and never changes; it is the digit itself that changes colour.
Lyrics View · Active Line Color Cyber Cyan vs Neon Pink Cyber Cyan: the lyrics come from inside the audio file (embedded). Neon Pink: the lyrics come from a separate .lrc file. Tells you at a glance whether to edit the file or switch the lyric source.
Title Dynamic Gradient Pink ratio + flow speed The proportion of Neon Pink in the top ZZBond Music title maps your recent 3-day Vitality Index in real time, with flow speed reflecting activity changes.

⚡ 2. Hidden Geek Gestures: Frictionless Control

1. Toggle Vinyl Cover and Fullscreen Lyrics

  • Two-finger Double Tap: On the playback screen, double-tap with two fingers anywhere to instantly toggle between the spinning vinyl and fullscreen glowing lyrics.
  • Swipe Left to Right: In the lyric view, swipe smoothly from left to right to return to the vinyl cover.
  • Tap Top Header: Tapping the top "ZZBond Music" title also toggles between cover and lyrics.

2. Precise Lyric Timestamp Seeking

  • Double-tap Any Lyric Line: Double-tap any lyric line to instantly jump playback to that exact timestamp.

3. Header Double-Tap Shortcuts (left and right do different things)

The ZZBond Music header is split into two independent halves:

  • Double-tap the left half, "ZZBond": force-wakes the voice assistant, which immediately starts listening and recording — this works whether or not the assistant switch is already on.
  • Double-tap the right half, "Music": toggles the voice assistant's background listening switch (the always-on wake-word state).

ZZ Music aggregates lyrics from major music platforms with a 100-point multi-dimensional scoring algorithm:

  1. Title Match (45 pts): Automatically strips noise tags like (Live), [Karaoke], (Remix).
  2. Artist Match (30 pts): Detects duets, aliases, and featured artists.
  3. Duration Precision (25 pts): High accuracy if duration difference is < 1s.
  4. Color Badges: Shows 98% Match badges in candidate lists. Long-press track to manually switch lyric sources.

🎛️ 4. Professional Equalizer & Smart Peak Guard

  • Genre Presets: Rock, Pop, Jazz, Classical, Bass Boost, Vocal Enhancer with genre auto-switching.
  • ReplayGain (-3.0dB): Normalizes loudness across tracks to prevent sudden volume spikes.
  • Smart Peak Guard: Built-in dynamic limiter suppresses distortion under heavy bass boost.

🔍 5. Library Categories & Instant Filtering

  • Multi-level categories: browse by All Songs, Artist, Album, Genre, and Folder.
  • Always-on filter box: a persistent search field sits at the bottom of the category list and filters as you type. It matches song title, artist name, and file name (case-insensitive substring match).
  • Default scan folders: on first install the app scans Music and Download/ZZBondCache (the song cache directory) in local storage. Any other folder must be added manually under Settings -> "Library Scan & Folders".
  • Bulk track operations: tap the plus icon (+) on any artist or album row to add every song in that category to the current queue or to a chosen playlist at once.

  • Local Storage: scans Music and Download/ZZBondCache (song cache) by default; other folders are added manually.
  • Cloud Mounting: supports WebDAV, Samba (SMB/CIFS), and Aliyun Drive; cloud tracks can be cached to the local device, and cloud folders can be synced one-way or two-way with local folders.
  • AI Configuration: with an LLM API key entered, it powers the voice assistant's speech recognition and command parsing, plus AI song tag completion.
